This video is a bit misleading. For anyone wondering, don't worry about the pronunciation lol.
The ACCURATE way of saying it:
Eid al Fitr = / eed • al • fi • tr /
If you wanna say eid mubarak, its literally the same as before.
Eid Mubarak = / eed • mu • ba • rak /

rather than talk at the beginning, best to just have someone say the phrase only

I think this sounds right based on the Arabic letters ... however the "E" in Eid is the Arabic letter "ع", which is not an English uppercase E sound, rather it's more like when you say the letter R (like a pirate … ARRGH!). The “i” is the Arabic "ي" and should likely be written "ii". It rhymes with feed or weed, or like the “ii” in Nintendo Wii. - R-iid al-fiTR

It's so funny. I have occasionally relied upon and appreciate Julien Miquel's recorded pronunciations of French words, but I was surprised that he recorded his pronunciation of this Arabic word. Seems to me, with millions of Muslims world wide, he could ask Muslim friend to record the word to ensure that it was truly authentic. That's what I would do. :) (I say this as an American who grew up in the Middle East.)
