Over the last few weeks, we’ve shared the first glimpses into the Lilium Jet's Pioneer Edition cabin... but for many of you, a glimpse wasn't enough.

We've been overwhelmed by the positive reaction from those who experienced the cabin at EBACE and the Paris Air Show. And we were inundated with questions about the latest design.

So, thanks for sitting tight. Who better to answer your questions than the team who created it?

In the first of a 4-part series focusing on our cabin design, Lilium's Head of Design & Brand Alberto brings you inside the cabin and compares the differences between our 2021 Show Jet and the latest 2023 cabin, designed for the customizable Pioneer Edition Lilium Jet.

Enjoy!

By far the most beautiful aircraft in many, many years. Can't wait to see it begin to sell.

Lilium stock has been moving up lately, I guess the FAA G1 certification has to do with it but that's a logical achievement for a very well designed aircraft. Personally it's the only eVTOL I have strong faith and confidence in. They have a solid framework, when energy-density start to rise even more it will become serious competition for ALL small aircrafts.

What you are showing here is the cabin, which looks gorgues!! But it's without the 'wings'.. love to see the full span of the aircraft.

I want one! But seriously, very cool design. I cannot wait to see them zipping overhead!

I also wish lilium success as a 19 year old investor living in korea. I have no doubt that this project will make me a millionaire.

As an investor I'm really interested how manufacturable is this design. When it comes for Lilium future the main hurdle is how difficult is mass production?

When will this be released? Also, if the battery is the obstacle to this, how much energy density is needed?
This company is my absolute favorite. They have very nice engineering solutions. And the main thing that works is not just CGI.

design is good
A bigger concern for shareholders is battery performance and power.
Information please.

If someone calls an electric impeller driven vehicle a "jet", I can't take them seriously anymore. But maybe they refer to the gas turbine driven generator that might be required to operate that thing further than 10 miles :)

Why is everyone here talking about stocks? 🤔

In respect to Joby, I'm sorry but Lilium Jet layout and design looks several leagues past its competitors. Most are cramped over glorified helicopters, which is fine for them. But this, is something truly different and truly special. This layout and design see's itself easily lending into not simply taxi, but personal air mobility which includes business class, and luxury personal air mobility. This is by far the Jetsons made real. More over is its scalability which competing layouts fail miserably at. Lilium scales up from 7 seater design all the way to 16 seater while remaining compliant to landing pad regulations. No other evtol has such levels of scalability and its scalability that holds to the success of the aircraft and achieving profit margins. Joby for instance is a very very large aircraft, most of which is due to its large wings and open rotor layout, all while only having a small 5 seat cabin, 1 for the pilot, The cabin can not scale up without the entire aircraft sizing up as well, breeching the maximum allowances of landing pad regulations. which means, if joby did decide to scale up to a larger aircraft, it could not service at standard landing locations. Joby does have a fine aircraft, but im not sure it lends itself well to many of the markets it plans to serve. And though i think their rush to market is ill advised, i also recognize that in order for evtol to make it in the minds of investors, running to an end goal is the better strategy for success, especially in the impatient world of investment. Lilium has take the opposite direction, They have taken the path identical to that of major commercial airliner standards. Its to this attention to details and meeting each regulatory standard that see's the lilium Jet as a true evtol jet and not simple an electric helicopter of scaled up drone. If propelled by a jet engine the lilium jets design layout would be considered revolutionary. But make no mistake, it is a regional taxi in operations. great for hops, not long distance travels. Evtols are light air mobility after all. I would slot the lilium jet just below that of the Honda Jet. a different class entirely but serving a similar market.

I’m rooting for Lilium but this focus on a beautiful mock up reminds me of never built concept cars. I want to see lots mor videos of the jet flying in rain, snow, heavy wind over uneven ground.
