Daily driving my '92 since 2022. Love her to death, and I won't lie, the only things I've really needed to do to it is refresh some old parts, and add my own modifications (later style center console, and ZJ seats for comfort up front).

I had a 1996 XJ with a 2 inch lift. I drove it 45 mins-1.5 hours every day to and from the city (on the highway) and then I would go off-roading on the weekends. I loved that thing, was super easy to work on, and fun to drive. Loved being able to parallel park it so easily because of the short wheelbase. I also know the pain of doing the exhaust manifold lol. Cool vid!

The practicality of the XJ is far superior! Wranglers in general are iconic no doubt, but for the family man who needs to haul a family and gear the XJ is perfect!

In eu are jeep dealers put diesel engines to those, but they still was so unreable car that you can buy those dirty cheap. It is strange that you guys does not have diesel suv's like us? Also gas is so expensive here that is one reason i guess.
