I'm in Lubbock, TX today. When out to the grass fields and just experienced this, the Prairie Dogs thought I was the coyote. Super cool!

The coyote's stake-out at the prairie dog's burrow reminds me of leopards waiting for warthogs outside of termite mound hollows! Certain predatory behavior transcend species and geography; success is the ultimate determining factor! 👍😎
