I’ve lost both of my children, a 2 1/2 year year-old 22 years ago and a 27-year-old two years ago after a long brain cancer fight. Between those losses, I went through a great deal of trauma with family of origin and an actual natural disaster and community trauma of a shooting that killed two. It’s been a level of grief I could never have imagined, even after losing one child. It’s so much greater than what I went through with our toddler. Within months of losing our last one, our marriage took a nose dive, and it’s been in freefall since, with only brief leveling off, only to plunge downward again, resulting in a far uglier divorce than I ever could’ve imagined after 35 years. As things neared the bottom, I got a puppy and I named her Joy. I don’t understand how I haven’t died of a broken heart. Yesterday, I told the Lord and others in my life that I couldn’t take it anymore. So I will say this with Faith that the Lord has broken through on my behalf.

My Testimony:

I am 16 years old and chose to start a relationship with God a few weeks ago. I don't exactly remember my breakthrough but I was REALLY struggling with a porn addiction and especially with my mental state back then. I knew about Jesus Christ but only saw him as help or an alternative solution. But when I sought and asked for him, he answered. Today, i am currently healing and although i am still falling into temptation, i believe God will break me free and all i need to do is to fight in his own strength. Now, i can truly say that

I saw Jesus hovering over a neighborhood with just grass no houses. A man, was there and a child walked to us and I heard The Lord say, this is your child, and He revealed my child’s name and I was so joyful and grateful “ I said this child is mine?! He’s mine?!” I don’t have children yet. But I saw my husband and my first son. Jesus was singing verses in the Bible. I was so happy. I was so cheerful

I’ve been struggling emotionally these past few days, I break down crying spontaneously, overwhelmed by emotion, and so I pray for healing and protection. I believe I’m in the midst of a great transformation, leaving behind the old and welcoming the new, all this emotional purging is proof.
