Configuring OMSI 2 Settings for Optimal Performance

Many OMSI Users, including BERTAN, have asked me to do a video tutorial on how to set up OMSI on their computer. This would fix things like the jumping bus issue and low/inconsistent frame rates. You're welcome.

Thank you for the tutorial, have made a lot of progress. I am not tech savvy, and found the files and documents only foreign and confusingly frustrating. I am a transit bus nerd, and nobody wants to play this game more than me. I wanted New Flyer version (unknowingly got a brown out of the country bus). Should I purchase New Flyer version... can you tell and explain an addon ?

Okay I just got this last night and the main menu doesn’t have the start, settings, or any of that option. How do I proceed to my selected route. My thing isn’t providing a menu with start bar and stuff

I been on your videos many times commenting different things and such and I am happy to say I finally have it(sad part being on a low-spec pc) as well as a few add-ons like chicago and Express 91.06 i think its called. Anyways I only have two questions:

Will this prevent the bus from jumping?
Will this fix with the map texture lagging? <- This one is my most important question because the map never tends to load all the way(Chicago, Spandau and Express 91.06) or only shows the sky(Grundorf) and I want to have a nice experience as lately everything has been crappy and at times like when Im playing Chicago, I end up missing a turn when I ride by certain street lights because the textures glitch and bug out and start appearing and disappearing as I drive. Thanks in advance if you get back to me!

I guess I have to find specific setting for Great Grundorf 2, because it always drops to 5 and crashes. I don't understand. Thank you for the tutorial though, I'm sure it will work for another map that doesn't have so much in it.
