The audio in this video was recorded with in-ear binaural microphones. If you wear headphones, your mind won't be blown, but it will go, "woah, that's cool."

I'm also the producer for the Winding Road YouTube Channel:

Here on TheTopher, I'm known for putting a camera on my face and driving cars. Whether it's about any of my personal cars or reviews on weekly press vehicles, the goal is to give you an idea of what a certain car is like to drive or live with. Most of my videos are filmed in POV, with my clothes on, and (for like the 5th time) with in-ear binaural audio. Which, if I haven't made it clear yet, is why you should wear headphones. Because of the whole "woah" factor. It's there, trust me. Try it, it's pretty nuts. Or don't. As long as you whitelist me on your adblocker I'm okay with whatever you do or don't do with regards to headphone usage. That is all. Oh and I guess you should also probably subscribe. Why are you still reading this, you should be watching the video. With headphones! Hah, had to sneak that in there one more time. Later!

N will be the performance version (275hp), out later this fall. R is the more mainstream performer.

I'm glad they moved it over to a new platform. It now rides on the ElentraGT (I30) platform. Multi link independent suspension (on all models), break torque vectoring, vastly improved steering. They even used aluminium to reduce weight.

Hyundai has a hit IMO.

You kidding me?? Livable? It is the one of the best car at going in and out of corners at this price point. Go to a track and find out it will shoot out of corners with out understeer when you push it.

So how was that sound system? (Bass, clarity, functionality etc) I'm looking into buying one of these and was hoping the factory infinity would be good enough I won't have to ad an aftermarket sub for depth

I know I'm probably alone in this, but I'd love to see an uprated version of the Ioniq hybrid drivetrain in this car, DCT or really throw me an improbable bone and make it manual. Who wouldn't love 45mpg and ~7.5 seconds 0-60?

It seems so much more German than the old one. Amazing car for the price

It looks so much better than it used to. Is this the same motor as the Forte5 SX and Elantra Sport?

I love the front but I prefer the center console and rear of the previous years.

No more panoramic sunroof anymore and no fog lights.. oh well maybe in a year or 2 they will start adding it back in..but over all it looks like a very fun car to drive

Does this car perform well with the 2.0L engine too or do you guys think it's definitely worth it to go for the 1.6 Turbo despite the extra money?

I bought my 19 Veloster Turbo R-spec new and I'm having problems, I can't shift into gear after the car sits overnight but if I let it run for about 15-20 minutes it goes into gear and changes gears just fine. This is the second time this has happened and I'm thinking about trading it in for something else.

As a prior Veloster owner, please tell me they fixed the issue of using an iPhone with this car? Dealership tried to get me to buy a special $40 cord so I could charge my phone and play it via USB.

As to why Hyundai didnt put the stock exhaust found on the Elantra GT sport and Elantra Sport sedan on the New veloster is beyond me. Isn’t this supposed to be the “sportier” of the 3? The stock exhaust on the Veloster is just disappointing.
