I spent an hour trying get a manual system out to replace with an electric system on a 156. I was struggling and thought "hmmm, wonder if Bruno has anything on it" 🙂

Hah, got notification for this just now and driver's door regulator failed on my e39 today. I'm pulling it out right now (failed plastic pulley) and have genuine used on eBay to replace. Been here, done this before, so all good.

Hi Bruno it looks like I have to do this job tomorrow because of ice on the window (yes, in late April!) and so something broke or maybe the cable has come unwound from the spool? Now the motor makes a sound for 1 second then stops. Thanks for your video on this

What kind of grease do you use? Is it PTFE or Lithium grease? I'm asking because one of rear windows in my 159 just dropped in :)

What spray did you use to clean the grease out of plastic?
And can you tell me what specific synthetic white grease did you used? Because I can't seem to find such grease in stores.
