The only other tip I know of is, if you are trying to feed them with the light on, then try feeding after the lights go off (or vice versa).

My gecko hasn’t been eating and his tail is getting really skinny. We lost power during the hurricane for a week, so I thought he could be stressed, but he hasn’t ate in a week. I’ve tried mealworms and waxworms

Hey Elle. I’m having a situation and I wonder if you could help me or not. I have a ball python that’s three years old or so in a 90 gallon tank. I have a double bulb Lamp and a 24 hour day night cycle with a light basking buki for 12 hours and a less powerful red light bulb that turns on from 8 pm to 8 am and it just died at 10:30 I can’t go get a new one and I’m not sure what to do. I’m not sure I should even have that red bulb but I live in Minnesota and it gets really cold and my room temp does not even get up to 70. If you could help me out with what to do from here on out I would really appreciate it ! My name is Kristian !

How many meal worms or roaches are we supposed to feed them ? I have a Leo and my daughter has been given him 7 or 8 very other day

My almost 10month female leo hasn't been eating for a week (but lower appetite in general since the 8-9month mark). Recently switched into a bioactive tank. Temperature and humidity is fine.
I weighted her, she is 59-60grams. Tail isn't skinny (yet..). There is also possibility of ovulation (my breeder says they can refuse food for 1 week - 1 month on ovulation...)
For now I'm thinking of getting fresh new dubias rather than my old stocks (that have gotten bigger in size quite a bit...) and leave it in a bowl to hopefully get her eating again. (I do a mix of tong feed and bowl but have concern of the bigger dubia escaping the food bowl so I have trying to tong feed).

I think she's probably still in her adjustment period to the new cage but how long should I wait before I need to take her to the vet?

This comment is probably better for the crested video, but my chewie refused bugs for a month since i got her, but she was eating CGD. I gutloaded my dubias with fresh banana and added a small nib of banana the size of a dubia to the bug dish to attract her with its scent. She ate those first try; Now she crushes dubias and I can gut load them properly and dust them with no issue!

Our gecko has eaten regularly but the past 3 days he hasn't touched his crickets. He typically goes right for them. The batch of crickets we got this type r definitely bigger than usual. Could that be the problem? Tried putting a small one in there, but still wouldn't touch it.

My leopard gecko hasnt eaten in two weeks, he just suddenly stopped eating. And ive tried everything! I checked the humidity and temperature they're both fine. I tried at least 5 different insects, i tried both hand and non hand feeding, i tried giving him space. And its spring here in the US east coast, so I dont think its brumation. But nothing is working, and now im terrified that something might be wrong. Im thinking about going to the vet but i dont know if its serious or not. I dont know what im doing wrong. Im sitting here crying cause i genuinely dont know what to do and hes less than 2 years old

My Leo doesn’t like eating in his terrarium so I’ll take him out and feed him on a towel outside of his terrarium, and sometimes he’ll look up at it and try climbing my bookcase up so I’ll take him back 😂. But yea he doesn’t like eating in his terrarium
