Remembering Kofi Annan

Former UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, has died at the age of 80.
He passed away peacefully in Ghana after a short illness. His wife and three children were at his side during his last days. Annan, along with the UN, won the Nobel Peace Prize for humanitarian work in 2001. He was Chair of The Elders – an organization founded by late former president Nelson Mandela.
