Nested Directories with Nuxt Components

I ended up wondering how you could do similar in Nuxt Docs theme with paths. How do you organize your .md files in a directory/folder and not let it show up in the route/path, still leaving the filename at the root level? For example, if I place c1.md in a folder called chapters, I'll get /chapters/c1 but what I want is just /c1. So, how do I prevent the folder name from becoming a path?
