DOUBLE BASS Drummers Are Making This ONE Critical Mistake

Ever feel like you're bouncing between ankle technique, heel-toe, and full leg motion—yet STILL struggling with consistency? 🤯

Here's why: Switching techniques too often is like trying to learn French, Spanish, and German at the same time. 🧠🎵 Every time you start getting fluent in one, you switch… and suddenly, you're back to square one.

Instead, commit to ONE technique first. Master it. THEN add variations. That’s how the best drummers build effortless control and speed.

Which "language" are you trying to master right now? Drop it in the comments! 👇

Good advice. I had to learn three languages simultaneously at university and can confirm that its a complete mindfuck. My brain would get twisted up and wires crossed, so I'd somewhat frequently reply in the wrong language or with the wrong accent. Ultimately, I only ended up achieving a high degree of fluency in one of the languages and moderate degrees of fluency in the other two
