I feel like this is a giant middle finger to those newbies/critics who brought the a-10 to mission 7 in the game when the game CLEARLY TELLS YOU IN THE BRIEFING THAT INTERCEPTORS WILL COME AFTER YOU, BRING AA WEAPONS, and then complain when they get owned by interceptors and say "WHY HASNT THE GAME TOLD ME THAT"

Was hoping for some crazy cutscene stuff with the cruise missile, but I do like how relaxed they were with dramatizing the landing ship's destruction

I think the canon route is ignoring rage and scream, i mean both of them are squishy

For those thinking that Rage and Scream have plot armor... Yyyyeaaaah, I managed to destroy Rage using the Falken's TLS, so no, you can definitely down them- well, one of them. The other one will immediately no longer register as a target and leave the combat airspace, and dialogue will say they both retreated because "we can't kill Three Strikes with damaged planes", but you can at least get points for one of them.

I actually failed my first attempt by casually strafing the Alicorn. Imagine my surprise when I learned it wasn't invincible.

on my first playthrough, I accidentally got the bad ending:

...the battle is still on, only few targets left and the sky will be clear. I only know SCREAM for about 5 seconds because she spawned near ENCHANTER, they already pulling back. Only few missiles left, but no TGTs in sight. We can do this.
The ALICORN is chilling down there. I wanna know about the submarine. I fired a missile on its general direction while holding the fire button. This will make the camera follows the missile so I can get the details without putting myself to danger. The submarine grows bigger in my view as my missile descend closer and closer.
Someone called me an idiot and aborted the mission. My missile hit the sub.
