Update: mimu bot is currently down so you won’t be able to do anything with the mimu bot at the moment 😭 I’m not sure when it’ll be fixed, but probably soon cause this has happened a few times already and they always get fixed fairly quickly.

Use Welcome to {server_name}! as the title. Especially and mainly the {server_name} part. That way you don’t have to go back and manually change the welcome message every time you change the name to your server

If you're having the same problem I ran into at 5:53, say /set greet message message:welcome, {user}! {embed:greet} instead and that should work :3

also in case anybody has the same issue i did and can’t read:

when it says {user} {embed:embed name}.. you don’t actually type “embed name”. you type the name of the welcome msg that you set earlier (in the poster’s case, it was ‘greet’ .. so. {embed:embed greet} )

idc if it was common sense i was losing my MIND over this part bc it kept saying my embed didn’t exist when i tested it

For those who are having the issue I had where it only sent my username for the greet message, for the command /set message greetmsg, use {embed:EMBED_NAME}, but replace "EMBED_NAME" with your greet message name! as in the name, what you named the message in the beginning of making the greet message. for the ex in the video their greet message name is greet! 2:08 <3
