I met David back in the early 60's. He was still a street preacher in New York.He spoke at our school and left definate impression on me. He was on fire! I had his book " The Cross and the Switchblade" for many years. He was truly a man of God.

I just want to say that I’ve listened to many many Muslim testimonies of Muslims who have found their Lord and Saviour Jesus. Some of which I’ve listened to many times. One of my favourites is called Hezbollah soldier meets Jesus in jail. He is now preaching in Vancouver British Columbia all about Jesus.

I got saved in the 70's at a revival meeting that David W. and Nicky C. spoke at in Burlington, Iowa. It changed my life for eternity, along the rippling effect of my mother and numerous family and friends. I was then privileged to hear David speak at the first conference his son's church hosted in CO. Nicky Cruise spoke as well. Little did I know it would be the last time he would formally publicly speak (he wasn't supposed to speak, but it was a huge blessing and gift and surprise). I am eternally grateful for this man of God and the ministry God did through him.
