The reverse (top) of the coin showcases an aerial view of a tension-filled scene: a surfer relaxes on her surfboard floating on the waves, as a shark fin breaks the water’s surface close by. Additionally, the water is beautifully colorized in realistic shades of blue, while the shark itself and the surfer on the surfboard retain their shiny silver color, greatly increasing the coin’s aesthetic appeal. The large letters “GREAT WHITE SHARK” encompass the top border of the coin, with the letters “T E” seemingly bumped aside by the shark’s head.
