Physics - Waves - The Electromagnetic Spectrum

A high school GCSE iGCSE science physics revision video all about the uses and dangers of the electromagnetic spectrum. Covering, frequency and wavelength, Radio Waves, Microwaves, Infra-red, visible light, ultraviolet, x-ray and Gamma Ray. Plus the uses and dangers of the different parts. For AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards.

One way I remembered the Electromagnetic Spectrum by order was this funny anagram my physics teacher told me:

Rude (Radio)
Men (Micro)
In (Infrared)
Vans/Vehicles (Visible
Use (Ultraviolet)
X-Ray (X-ray, duh :p)
Goggles (Gamma)

A good way of remembering the Em spectrum is by learning this sentence. " Grandma's X-box Uses Volts In My Room".
Just remember that Radio Waves come first. Hope this helps :)

correct me if I'm wrong: The amount of energy waves posses is fully determined by their frequency and their amplitude. The x-axis is time which means waves with a certain frequency have a certain wavelength, expressed in time.
