It's just-released bodycam video of cops investigating the tragic accidental shooting of Hylina Hutchins, the cinematographer killed on the set of Alec Baldwin’s movie “Rust.” Baldwin is still wearing his cowboy wardrobe as police start taking evidence photos. Officers grab medical equipment from a vehicle and race into the church where grievously wounded Hutchins is lying on the ground. We also see Hannah Gutierez, the production’s armorer, being questioned.

1:18 "I'm the armourer, or at least I was." The tone she said that with, as if two people being shot and one of them dying is nothing more than an inconvenience to her career.

The armorers attitude says everything. It’s funny how Alec is being held responsible and yet, the person responsible to distinguish live rounds from dummies has gone unscathed. Her simple, yet short statement of “…at least I was” says everything. She didn’t do her job right and got someone killed

Wow. That armoror obviously did not take her job seriously and showed more concern about losing her job than the woman dying from her negligence

It blows my mind that the focus has not been on the armorer from day 1. She knows she messed up and you can see it in the video. It's her responsibility to maintain the safety of the firearms for the very reason that actors like Baldwin will not have the instinct to check the weapon.

When it comes to armory, always triple check if not double check. Should not have happened in any way. Our deepest condolences to the Hutchins family (correction).

“A phone rings, and Baldwin answers.”

It’s so crazy that this happened. I bet everyone involved feels terrible even if Hannah has an odd way of showing it.

This is what you get for hiring incompetent people.

Based on the Wikipedia article on the incident, the armorer is the daughter of an industry veteran armorer, so she's not just some random girl picked off of the street that was given a shot at a successful career. This Hannah already had a bad history with disregarding safety protocols and guidelines. The accident was caused almost entirely by her. She's got blood on her hands.

I would definitely not trust that woman to arm my guns. And she seemed more concerned about losing her job

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say you probably shouldn’t hire the person with purple and yellow hair to be an armorer.

The fact they let someone who looks like an angry disturbed high school kid who is mad at life handle the ammo and rounds is insane.

Hannah seems more worried about her gig than the shooting that took place.

As an army veteran I feel it is only right to be critical of this avoidable, negligent shooting. The first cowboy film was made in 1903. This has been done many times before, without this happening! Rules were broken. There is no valid excuse.

Just killed someone, worries about his clothes. That's a narcissist.

She seems more upset that she lost her job than she just killed someone and injured someone else and ruined the guys life holding the gun

I do not have all the information on this but the gun was supposed to be a cold gun, no ammunition was supposed to be in there of any kind blanks or live rounds. Clearly it was an accident, but either the production or hannah or both needs to be held accountable for the negligence here.

Their "armorer" probably didn't know the first thing about gun safety or what a live round even looks like. Ridiculous.

That armorer had made mistakes involving firearms on a previous film set as well. The red flags were there.

Hannah, the armoror looks like she knows it's all her fault, no?
