In this video, we'll go over the key concepts covered in NCERT Class 11 Chapter 3 on Trigonometric functions. We'll explain the definitions of the trigonometric ratios, how to use them to find missing sides and angles in right triangles, and how to use them to solve real-world problems. Whether you're struggling to understand the material or just want to brush up on your skills, this video is for you.

Trigonometric functions are functions that are defined in terms of the ratios of the sides of a right triangle. There are six main trigonometric functions: sine (sin), cosine (cos), tangent (tan), cotangent (cot), secant (sec), and cosecant (csc). These functions are defined in terms of the angles of a right triangle and are commonly used in geometry, calculus, and other areas of mathematics.

The sine of an angle in a right triangle is defined as the ratio of the length of the side opposite the angle to the length of the hypotenuse. The cosine of an angle in a right triangle is defined as the ratio of the length of the side adjacent to the angle to the length of the hypotenuse. The tangent of an angle in a right triangle is defined as the ratio of the length of the side opposite the angle to the length of the side adjacent to the angle.

The cotangent, secant, and cosecant are the reciprocals of the tangent, cosine, and sine, respectively.
