It's sad that people don't understand that flights aren't always for holidays. They can be booked for emergency situations. Saying goodbye to loved ones, funerals and so on.

So many people forget that flights are not just to take you on a lil vacation or visit.

It takes you to funerals, weddings, loved-ones suffering in hospitals. A flight getting cancelled for someone could quite literally be earth shattering for them at that moment.

Do I think that the public meltdowns make others uncomfortable and should try to be avoided? Yes. Do I think people should not let their emotions control them? Yes- if they have the capacity do so. Also, the fact is that mentally ill people do exist and as long as they aren't a direct harm to anyone, people should just leave them be.

I would also argue filming someone in an obviously vulnerable state and posting it online is just as, if not more, "morally irresponsible."
