I remember finding this song summer of 2016 and preparing for 7th grade. My 18th birthday was yesterday (Oct 2) & I'm a senior now. Time flies man. I'm scared af to be an adult but this song motivates me to pursue my dreams.

I've been going through a rough time. I was suppose to take the last physical test to try out for Air Force special forces and I ended up spraining my collarbone out of no where and having a tendon issue in my calf that may require surgery. Neither will keep me out but I've never had injuries like these in my life and I'm taking it very hard. This song somehow puts it all into perspective. It makes me feel like everything is the way it's suppose to be, like it's all part of the plan. All this waiting around for my life to start when my life is happening right now and I've been letting it pass. Idk how a song could do it, but this song literally put my entire life into perspective with like 4 lines that I don't even have context for. Thank you

unlike others here, I love the vocals. not so much to listen to (although the words add a lot of meaning to it) but as another instrument. this is one of the few songs where I found everything, including the vocals were perfect.
