I can’t help but think a side facing gun pod would have been a better option. If we assume that there may be situations where input lag is a factor or the operator’s link may be jammed, I think it would be better to have the drone fly pre-programmed paths, including pre designated areas to orbit, allowing the gunner to cover an area from MUCH greater altitude with MUCH greater accuracy, just like that of an AC-130.

And the small drone have limited capacity of carrying ammo for it
Then operator doesn’t have that much enough time and not have spare ammo if he miss

2 Flights expending 10k rounds. So each gun holds 2.5k of 7.62 NATO ammo. If its set for low firing rate (2k rpm) that's a bit over 1 minute of firing per gun.

FYI, the loaded gun & ammo pod is about 150kg, assuming they're using the lightweight version of the gun.

Hmm... my only gripe is it doesn't look like the gun can is on a swivel mount. The entire drone needs to be facing directly at the target to fire.

I'd hope in the future the pods will be able to rotate so it can play the role of a gunship loitering in circles instead of only being able to strafe.

I thought this was going to be a firefighting variant of the drone based on the title. In retrospect I should’ve realised a drone probably wouldn’t be able to carry enough stuff (water/ foam) to make it worthwhile.
