Since about 5 years ago, I've thrown out all my lipsticks and lipglosses and now only scrub my lips with Vaseline and a washcloth. My lips not only look more plump for several hours after- but they also look more pink. I just apply a thin coat of Vaseline, scrub in tiny circular motions with a cloth- even extending to the skin around the lips- then I lick my lips a little (for moisture) and seal with a final thin coat of vaseline. I've had many people ask if I'm wearing color on them

Look at models and actresses back in the 60s and 70s, everyone had thin lips, no fat lips! And they were still considered attractive/beautiful
Eyes were a big thing back then
Very few people were fat; plastic surgery was not available; everything is overdone today!

I am 51 and I think my best feature are my lips. I don't get fillers, but I found that derma rolling them makes them plumper while maintaining the cupid's bow. I use 1mm size needles.

I use my soft-bristed electric toothbrush to gently scrub the lips, then apply peppermint essential oil mixed with a drop of hyaluronic acid serum, vitamin C cream, and seal with Aquaphor or a really good lip oil.

I've been scrubbing my lips and hydrating with Vaseline, doing a bit of microneedling every other week followed by hyaluronic acid serum, using a lip plumper (such as Dr. Rajani's) during the day, and doing daily lip massages and exercises (especially the ones that relax the lip muscles) and both the plumpness and the shape of my lips have greatly improved over time. Especially when I'm smiling, which I do a lot, my upper lip looks fuller and more relaxed. Of course, this approach takes a few months and the changes are very subtle but, in the long term, there is definite difference. The men I date are crazy about my lips, because the things I've been doing have enhanced their full (but also natural) potential.
