5 DIFFERENT TYPES OF JOBS IN THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY | ESSENTIAL WORK

Hello everyone and welcome back to another video. I've been asked a lot about working in insurance (how to get started and the types of jobs that can be done) so I decided to do a video on the 5 most common insurance jobs (in my opinion) in the home owner and auto departments. I used generic names for the jobs because some insurance companies call the role a different name but you'll get the point. If you're looking for an industry that's relatively easy to get into, with the option to work from home in some roles and be an essential worker, insurance may be for you. I hope you find the video helpful!

I would honestly go with the frontline adjuster, field appraisal, or the underwriting. Underwriting low-key feels so interesting and something I can't get bored of. Thank you for the video!

Hi! Thank you for your help. I am currently working as a receptionist at enterprise centre. It's ok, but sometimes bit boring, and i was approached one of our tenants in the building i am working. They offered me an insurance coordinator position.
But with the opportunity to progress into a team lead! So it sounds very interesting, and i hope it's a good choice i made. They are a very nice team and very motivated. 😊

Today I was contacted by my local district office for Farmers insurance because they liked my resume on zip recruiter. I’m not sure where they exactly want to offer me a career opportunity but I do have a meeting on Monday to discuss it. I’m excited to at least see if anything is a good fit for me. I’m here to learn what I can about the insurance industry before my meeting.

Thank you, highly informative! The underwriter position sounds perfect. How long on average would it take to be offered this type of position?

Hey just found your channel and have been watching a lot of your videos . I see you have experience in auto and homeowners, do you have a preference, and if so, why ? I’m interested in underwriting as well, but my current company typically base them out of a certain office so it’s hard to get into bc I’m based in a different area. I’m still looking though .

Hello, i enjoyed this detailed information, recently I'm thinking of pursuing a career in insurance, this video is an eye opener. There are things I'm still confused about, is motor or auto insurance a unit of other insurance cover or it's on it's own? And what the future prospects of motor or auto insurance? Please I will like more clarity on this. Thanks😊
