Stop closing servers #gaming

I know what you mean. For MotorStorm: Apocalypse, they had items and vehicles that you could only unlock via online, and unfortunately for me, they shutdown the servers back in 2018. So unfortunately I was too late. I could emulate it on my Steam Deck to play online on there, but I suck at trying to emulate games.

It reminds me of the gta 5 on 360 and ps3, I wanted all the achievements so I had to go online which as most will know was full of hackers and not many people actually playing game modes like races and tennis etc. so I had to do like 4 months of solid gta online whenever I had some free time, I had my account banned from online by hackers like 5 times and constantly had to go to rockstar support to have them unlock my account but after all that I finally got all the achievements so that now when I look at my list I have every gta game 100% (except gta v on last and current gen cause fk those doomsday mastermind achievements)

I loved playing Knockout City but the servers closed recently on June 6th. The game was easy to understand and anyone could get good. It’s a shame no one can’t play it anymore.

I remember finally being able to play arkham origins to find out the online servers was offline.🗿

One prime example of this is Guitar Hero: Live. I bought it many years after the servers closed and after spending about 4 hours playing it, the story was done. I had all 42 songs (pathetic). Can't get more, can't get the achievements, can't play online (that's also true of the older games). It just felt, empty, because of the reliance on the servers, yet the older games had it just as a feature. Hence why I sold Live and still have 1-6 on my PS3

Another thing gamers hate: missing out on a generation. This may just be me but I only grew up with an original Wii, but missed out on the DS, 3DS, Wii U, PSVita, PS3, PS4, and Xbox 360. I purchased a 3DS when no one had one which made it kind of depressing. Also I have no friends with an Xbox so I don't have any way to play multi-player. YES, I have a PC but I can only play Roblox online. It kinda makes me sad sometimes.

The best game I've seen shut down its servers was rumbleverse. It put a completely different spin on battle Royals and I loved it

I mean, Unreal Tournament was delisted and there are fan servers. It sucks that consoles really don’t have the freedom to make fan servers like on PC

Reminds me of Titanfall 2. Servers were attacked by DDoSers and are now unplayable on consoles. At least the amazing campaign is still playable…
