It may also be worth noting that the base is the home of the Army Signal Corps. Large ordinance is almost non-existent compared to other bases around the country. Thus, no issues with noise if you live closer to the base.

Augusta GA in general outside the base is a slum, and the governing bodies are corrupt as all hell.
