Kamui adalah teknik dōjutsu Mangekyō Sharingan yang menciptakan bentuk unik dan khusus dari nijutsu ruang-waktu. Hal ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk mencapai dua dimensi yang berbeda.

Kamui memungkinkan pengguna untuk mentransfer target menuju dan dari dimensi lain, di mana mereka tidak dapat melarikan diri.

Dengan menumpang tindihkan seluruh tubuh mereka, pengguna benar-benar dapat menyembunyikan diri mereka dan menghapus semua jejak chakra mereka. Hal ini juga memungkinkan pengguna untuk bebas melakukan perjalanan melalui tanah, memungkinkan mereka untuk menyergap lawan dari bawah.

Kemampuan tak dapat disentuh ini dapat diperluas penggunaannya untuk apapun yang disentuh pengguna, asalkan mereka mampu mempertahankan kontak fisik dengan setidaknya sebagian dari objek yang diinginkan.

Kemampuan ini juga memungkinkan pengguna untuk memotong bahkan ninjutsu penghalang terkuat sekalipun.

If we compare Sukunahikona/Daikokuten and Kamui, these techniques are similar to each other, but at the same time they are different.When you use Kamui for intangibility, you yourself cannot attack your enemy. At the same time, when you use Sukunahikona to shrink yourself, you can attack your enemy with the pins that are stored in your dimension.With Kamui you can only be intangible for 5 minutes, while Sukunahikona has no such limit.There is also a difference in speed.
