Welcome to the 2016 Brain IDEAS Symposium, Hosted by the Invisible Disabilities Association (IDA) in Denver, CO.
IDA's 2016 Brain IDEAS symposium focused on Brain Disorders, Brain Health, and Brain Therapy. Nine expert speakers delivered dynamic, science, and story-filled talks on relevant topics including Alzheimer’s, Mental Training, Humor Therapy, Stroke, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Dyslexia, ADHD, Attention Deficit Disorders, Learning Disabilities and Phantom Pain. Expert-led panels were included in each section allowing attendees to interact with presenters. Our lunch program honored three experts in Healthy Living, Research and Innovation, followed by Top-Ten Billboard recording artist Billy Mclaughlin.

The Invisible Disabilities Association (IDA) is a non-profit organization that has been encouraging, educating and connecting people and organizations touched by invisible disabilities around the world since 1996.
IDA provides awareness, education and support through our websites, articles, pamphlets, booklets, radio and television interviews, videos, seminars, events, programs, Annual Awards, Brain Symposiums, Invisible Disabilities Week, online resources, online community, social media, newsletters and the sharing of endeavors of individuals and organizations.
