A basic introduction to the word "hermeneutics" and why it is so important in everything we read, hear and react to. This has to do with every bit of media we consume. I have used Monty Python and the Professional Logician's Monologue as a point of entry, but its origins are far more ancient, in Greek mythology. There is much to discover in Apollo, Hermes and the Oracle of Delphi.

Great video! I love Monty Python and the Logician's Monologue is particularly helpful for women who have to live with this type of character, who is so expertly voiced by John Cleese! :D Particularly interesting as it is quite and obscure bit of Python but it's a long time favorite for me! As is in the "She's a Witch!" sketch that precedes it on the album and of course features in the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail!

You made the basic concept of Herrmeneutics accessible and I found the connections with Apollo, Hermes and the Oracle of Delphi to be quite fascinating and well argued. Well done and I can't wait to see more from this exciting new channel!
