The DJI Mavic Pro 2 Drone is now POINTLESS!

With the recent legislation released in the UK in December 2020 flying the DJI Mavic 2 Pro is now limited to the A3 Section unless you take the A2 CofC Course! What does this mean, well unless I pay for a training day I can only fly way out in the country side far from everyone and everything, boring!

In this video I talk more about this, have a little rant and introduce my new drone which gets over all these limitations, the Mavic Mini 2!!

I did my PfCO in Dec 2020 & feel I was ripped off. Done the A2CofC & nearly done my GVC. I only have the MA2 & Parrot Anafi for now, I fancy the P4P & M2P but it seems like wasting my money. Plus the weather in Lancashire I hardly get any flights...

If your being sensible with it, the odds of getting any hassle is extremely low, I understand you want to be above board though, I have a mini 2 myself, But with our usual shite weather here in the UK I've hardly been able to use it, hopefully get some use come summer.

Its A3 the 1st of January 2023! Then you install Id remote and then your drone is back to A2!

I live in Canada and I sold all three of my DJI Phantom drones two years ago for the same reason, I have only sub 250 gram drones now. DJI would be wise to expand the sub 250 gram drone line up. I would love to buy a 250 gram mavic 2 pro.

Still one of the best drones. would it always prefer instead of an Air2s.
Cant comapre it with a MAvic 3 beauces that thing is way to expensive.

The A2 cofc is only £59 pound right now so not really a reason to sell your drone. most of these rules aren't even enforced unless you are making a fortune. its all propaganda tbh

Get your self some training many apply for your permissions and all you will have to do is change the case when they eventually get round to releasing the ce marked version

Sad days for drone pilots in the UK. My Mavic Pro is sitting in a bag being sad ... I'm sad too.
