really impressed with the cage work . im a chassis guy and its nice to see people put the ffort in to do cages properly, this is the last thing you ever want to happen to customer/friend/driver/etc. but man does it really speak highly of the fabricator . obviously time wentinto a build, but a car is a car, glad all are well . hope they come back to the event.

Speculation is that there could have been fluid on the tires contributed to the push...note the puff of smoke (either oil or ps fluid) from the hood vent ...and there are pix of the car coming up the mountain where you can clearly see a wisp of flame out of the vent too...

In the very opening frame you can see the oil fire coming out the hood vent. Then at approx. 2 seconds in you can see another puff of smoke.

Agreed. Gassing it up a blind corner when you clearly missed the apex of the turn is a pretty bad idea. This is an epic fail on a lot of levels!
