I found my grandmother's Metaphysical Bible Dictionary. This was my intro to New Thought, 2007.

I was in a discipleship program where during special services called "Corem Does" we were taught the Bible along the with physical challenges (holding 5 pound bag of flour arms stretched out, being physically restrained as we try to rush the stage, etc. ) with the belief what we did in the physical translated or manifested into the supernatural. I was thinking what I was doing in conjunction with the massage with conjuring up or was gonna manifest godliness later for me lol as we were all young and at that impressionable age. Now I look back at it shockingly. Thank you for your video as it helps make realize where people may have gotten this stuff.

Hey Lewis this was so good I had to listen to this again (with a friend). Quick question have you watched or heard of American Gospel : Christ Alone ? It's 2018 I think which deconstructs the charismatic movement that gets into Phineas Quimby, Word of Faith and prosperity gospel. 😁

Bible scholar, Robert M Price, addressed a group of New Thought folks recently, and he suggested that Trump seemed to be the perfect embodiment of New Thought ideas. They almost took his head off!😅

I have been a student of New Thought for 30 years....Never heard of Quimby but thru Wayne Dyer, Tony Robbins, Peale, Lester Levenson, Goddard and countless others ..There is all a bottom line..CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS CHANGE YOUR LIFE...!
