I think Shania’s songs were so successful because they had a BIG sound, those drums hit HARD on Honey I’m Home. Her ex-husband’s background as an iconic rock producer with Def Leppard & AC/DC had to have played a big part in that. Her deeper voice works really well with it too. She had the complete package as a performer and songwriter. Beautiful, dynamic stage presence and wrote kick ass songs but also deep, soulful ballads.
