Our coffin culture dates back to the time we built the pyramids. It was a competitive tradition among families. The coffin of each dead loved one was designed to match or beat that of the other family. Decorated with gold and other ornaments, we covered our embalmed bodies to preserve the bodies for years to come. Today, we design the coffins according to the trade of the dead loved one. Craftsmanship has always been part of us.

Am frankly tired of so-called experts who read about Africa and declare themselves experts. Every society has its strengths and weaknesses. Africa is still under Neo-colonialism and suffers under Western hypocritical policies. Having spent over 45 yrs in England, Canada and America, and having traveled widely in Europe, I still will choose Africa anyday, regardless of the difficulties associated with living there.

not sure you have actually been to our beautiful country or not, but i am a member of the sruhulut tribe and our favorite food is guava and cassava but we also like sweet potatos, more of our tribe are college educated and in government positions than all other tribes, so we are a proud people

Akwasidae is not only celebrated by the Asante people. It's celebrated by all Akan tribes including the Akwamu, Dormaa, Akuapem, Akyem, etc

The coffin practice isn’t common and NOT linked to culture whatsoever but more of a personal choice(vanity)!

This video is not really about the cultures of Ghana. Its mainly attributes of the Akans, Fanti and Ashanti with a commercial practice of fantasy coffins in Accra (Fantasy coffin is not a cultural aspect). Every tribe has their own Kente and tradition cloth, food and festival a lot of which are more elaborate than the ones you mentioned. And on the history of our independence there is only Kwame Nkrumah. This is basically a woke and virtue signalling of what a Ghanaian or Ghanaian culture is. So I would say this video gets a 0.5 out of ten about what a Ghanaian or Ghanaian culture is.
