Hes technically good enough but that weight difference is no joke. If i was him, id do what Jon Jones did. Take some time off and naturally bulk up to be a legit welterweight do that for a bit before ever considering middle weight

Lets be real islam has legit skills but he's too small for middle weight, he needs to bulk up big time if he wants to move to MW, islam is like 5'10 5'11 and has a lightweight frame right now and technically yes he can do cause look at guys like jared cannonier, he's like 5'11 but the difference is cannonier was a heavyweight, so like i said height wouldnt really matter for that weight but your frame and how you use it will

Islam always wrestle a heavier partner to improve his strength. Sometimes he trained with heavyweight partner and that's not a secret, so he can fight in middleweight class without any problems
