The same play can mean different things to different people. According to Professor Richard Schoch, Shakespeare's plays change with different generations, cultures and eras because we ask new questions of Shakespeare’s work.

Richard also believes that the UK has the greatest concentration of Shakespeare talent anywhere in the world and that it is the best place to study Shakespeare.

Great video! It's extremely important to read and study Shakespeare's plays in context - context of production as well as context(s) of performance. The dramatic text is not static, its interpretation possibilities fluctuate as time passes and more voices are added to the dialogue: readers, adaptors, actors, reviewers, etc.!
Prof. Schoch's work has been really inspiring in my journey in theatre historiography studies!
