Kendrick Perkins and Stephen A. Smith debate on weather Dwight Howard should have been on the NBA top 75 of All-Time list over Bill Walton.

Dwight is a 8x all star, 8x all nba, 4x top 5 in MVP voting, 3 times a DPOY, not to mention being the best player on a team that made the finals (Orlando). How does this resume not crack the top 75?

Dwight Howard is one of the most under-appreciated players, it's like people forget his first 8 or so seasons even happened. Dwight peak was higher than Melo, AD and Dame. They did him dirty

SAS is a clown. Dwight Howard in Orlando was an absolute monster, and was easily the best big man in the game and received serious consideration as being the best player in the game.

I like how Perkins actually said who he'd take off most guys say someone got snubbed and are scared to take anyone off but I agree 1000% Dwight is punished for the small market and the years after Orlando. They forget about those 40 and 20 games he had.

Honestly, I think it would make complete sense to have left off guys like AD or Dame who are still in their prime and added Dwight instead. They could have definitely made the 100 Anniversary team. The team that I expect Kyrie and Klay to make

Won DPOY 3x and led his team to a finals past the Celtics and Cavaliers

The issue with the top 75 list is that the original 50 couldn't be removed.. so this made selecting the rest of the 25 players a much tougher decision.. Klay should have been on this list instead of Damian Lillard.. Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol also deserve to be on that list instead of Anthony Davis in my opinion

Dwight Howard is was All-NBA 8 TIMES. I wouldn’t take off Bill Walton, but can somebody please tell me what Damian Lillard has done to impact the game more than Dwight? I love Dame, but him being on this list reeks of recency bias.

The very young might not realize this but once upon a time for a few years in sports radio there was a legitimate debate that surrounded whom would you rather building your NBA team around right now; Dwight or LeBron. Dwight was THAT good.

the only thing dwight hasn’t accomplished in his career is ROY and MVP, yet stephen a still doesn’t think he deserved to be here. you’re telling me that dwight didn’t have a greater career than some of the bigs on the list from the 50s and 60s ?? sick of the media bias

Notice how Stephen A never addressed why Dwight was undeserving he just talked around it. I believe that most of the voters that left Dwight off the list knew that he’s a top 45 to at least 50 lock and just left him off because they don’t like him. Klay should be there too but he’s not better than Dwight even with those rings
