Love the new 8 string offerings. Love the Duncan distortion.

Keith Merrow and Ola Englund are the reason i know so much about Duncan.

I suppose it's because, as he said, they are made with pure Silver. Zephyrs are $1K per set. They sound amazing. Wouldn't say any pup is worth $500 a piece, but there is nothing else like them. Hence the clarity of overtones present

yes dimarzio had a huge booth at namm. Seymour and Larry must never lock eyes or the skies themselves would die. Thankfully namm security keep each securely away from each other at all times.

I came here expecting to see something about the Black Winter pickups...

Has anyone ever seen Seymour Duncan and Larry DiMarzio together at the same time? Maybe if they ever came in contact with each other the universe would implode. So, probably not a good idea. Did DiMarzio even have a booth at NAMM? Hello search function!

Well, they're wound with pure silver wire. That, and the cryo-treatments account for the bulk of the price.

SD bass pickups are wound too loud now. they need to go back to the 70's windings. let the pedals and amp do all the amplification
