#11 Colorful and Utterly Simple Acrylic Pour - Large Canvas - EASY Beginner Technique!
Canvas is a 30” x 40”.
Colors:
Artists Loft Black
Artists Loft White
DecoArt Sapphire
DecoArt Magenta
DecoArt Amethyst
Modern Masters Apple Green
All were mixed with a little less than 3 parts Floetrol to 1 part of paint. Very small amount of water - paints are very thick. Base coat is thinner so that it would mix in with the composition as the solid colors needed that contrast.
#fluidart #acrylicpainting #arttutorial #abstractart #art #acrylicpouring
**I got into acrylic pouring after playing around with epoxy resin and wanting to do some art with it. After realizing the amount of time it took to prep and clean up, it wasn’t quite as appealing to me anymore. That’s when I stumbled onto some YouTube videos about acrylic pouring and I WAS HOOKED. This was in the Fall of 2020, and with COVID running rampant, it was the perfect thing to keep me occupied and staying home, safe and sound. This art form is extremely cathartic and empowering at the same time. There’s no greater feeling than pouring paint on to a canvas and watching magic happen before your eyes! Less than a year of painting and I’m so honored to be displaying my work in two local restaurants here in Houston – so exciting! Thank you so much for coming along on this journey with me!**
