First Look: Prodigy D2 Pro Distance Driver

The D2 Pro is a very overstable, high-speed distance driver. The slimmer profile gives it a similar feel in the hand to the D2 Max, but the D2 Pro significantly cranks up the overstability. Players will be able to count on a hard finish, and those with higher arm speeds and more power can get a similar flight to the D2, but with slightly less glide and a stronger fade.

How many times can you repurpose a single mold and continue to claim it being a ‘new’ version of a disc ??! Super curious why you don’t focus on your fairway line and stop making 4 versions of the drivers.

Little bit more overstable = insane meathook. Luckily you can grab for peanuts from a closeout because this disc is not for normal people. I would say it competes with Scythe or my super os Phase for the most OS driver I have, beats Wysocki Enforcer or PD2 and the likes with ease. Stiletto is like a toy compared to my D2 Max. It's a board flat meathook that doesn't hodl the angle for a second.

Um, am i the only one noticing that Cat is carrying what appears to be a pound/squatch bag and NOT a prodigy bag? Maybe even a new bag design from Prodigy? EasterEgg

Like to see Cat and Austin do more online. Tutorials would be great. Cat for roller. Austin for sidearm and how baseball mechanics come into play.

what is the fascination with shallow rims? the max series really seemed to flop imo so how is this an improvement? it is more of a retooled D2Max than D2. Why not focus on improving the D1? where's 500 D1s?
