Yul Brynner might be the most improbable major movie star ever, with his Russian accent and unconventional shaven headed good looks. Especially as an Old West Gunfighter in The Magnificent Seven. Yet somehow with his immense talent he could make it believable and made it all work. When he was on screen you just couldn't take your eyes off him.
