So heartbreaking! I often think of my ancestors that came to America from Ireland and all the unknowns they faced. I really don’t know if I would have the courage to make that trip across the ocean leaving behind friends and family and not knowing what lie ahead or even if they would even be able to survive the trip. Thank you for honoring those whose lives were taken in such a sad and tragic way.
