I found my faith after a promise i made to my brother not long before he died of cancer, he asked me to open my heart and let Jesus in, its the most profound thing that ive ever experienced, i was an angry bitter atheist before, a grudge bearing angry person, the change ive felt is so unbelievable to me, the person i was before feels like a bad dream nothing feels impossible to me now with God at my side, i ask for nothing but Gids love and grace, God bless my brothers and sisters in christ.

1. Preparation - come with confidence, get away from distraction
2. Supplication- 6:38 Ask Holyspirit for help to understand the word
3. Reception- 15:19 Do not rush through the process of reading. Take time and get it into the spirit. Repeat the word.
4. Meditation - 21:00 repetition in thoughts. Reflecting upon the word, think the word frequently. It will become our thought patterns.
5. Application- 24:49 Live and think about the word by applying it. Pray according to the word.
6. Union - 29:23 We will raptured in a moment of glory. We become aware of the realm of the spirit. Our old selves become weakened and a state of awareness of God that comes only by the Holy Spirit through the word.

After I was baptised, I had another nightmare a horrible nightmare. Jesus came to this place of hell to rescue me. Everything, every being scurried away. He stood there, in front of me, looked me deep in the eyes until he was satisfied I was still me and then woke me up without saying a word. It was a few days later when I learned there is no place the shepherd won't tread to rescue his flock. I soul was filled with love.
I recently went on to be confirmed on Pentecost Sunday 10 days or so ago, without a shred of a doubt in my being, that this Jesus is our saviour. Like you stated - I am not the same person I was. ❤

I can 100% testify to what David is saying here! We must approach the throne, and the Word, being fully persuaded that we are LOVED by our Father.❤ Guilt and shame have no place here. We did not earn righteousness; He gave it to us through the precious blood of Jesus. Receive the gift of righteousness in Christ Jesus with joy and celebration, with gratitude!!

I struggled with approaching God for quite a while. Something was in the way. But I kept trying, standing on the truth that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him; there is no question that I was doing just that. As I continued to practice the discipline of coming before Him in prayer, something broke. I was flooded with truth, power, peace, joy, and comfort. It was the Holy Spirit. And He was more real than anything I had ever experienced.

Now, my daily practice is to approach the throne with boldness. I just tell the Father how much I love Him, and I thank Him for loving me. But mostly, I just listen for His voice. And He does speak... when we quiet ourselves and listen. Every day, I encounter this "heaven on earth" experience that David is talking about. There are no words that can describe this, except to say that it is supernatural, otherworldly.

These are some notes I took for myself when I was learning how to approach Him. May they help anyone who is struggling with this:
* Identify the true reason you keep your distance from God. He is the loving Father, waiting to invite you in and bless you. Why do you shy away from intimacy with Him? Do you doubt His love and grace? Do you doubt the power of Jesus' precious blood and the forgiveness and liberty He purchased for you?
* Read the Word with love and power, in a state of worship and truth, with adoration for the King of Kings; the same way you approach the throne. The Bible is His word for me! The meditation of my heart shall be of understanding (Ps 49:3).
* Always be in a posture of leaning in to hear His voice and to follow His leading in paths of righteousness, whether reading the Word or praying.

John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
Psalm 145:18 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him in truth.
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
Hebrews 11:6 He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Father, may we always seek You in truth. You know our hearts. You know those who sincerely want to know You. May they empty themselves of fear and shame, and approach Your throne in the power of Your Holy Spirit. Reveal Yourself to those who earnestly seek You. May we throw off the distractions of this world and turn our backs to the myriad of voices that call out to mislead us. May we turn our hearts to You and only You. That Your countenance would shine upon us. We exalt You, mighty Father. Great is Your faithfulness...!!❤

I felt this a long time ago but I have fell away from it and am only now going back to it. I would feal this in the church and in my car while dwelling on the word or reading the word. and I worked a lot back then. I always carried the new testament mini bible in my back pocket and read it through out the day whenever i got a chance. I even told my boss about it at one of the jobs i worked at. I had so much energy was never tired. Thank you so much for your message today.
