Replacing Temporary Shelter Door Panel

The door on my Shelter Logic tractor shed is wore out. Let's change it!!

The Shelter Logic works good for a storage spot for my Massey Ferguson GC2300 awesome tractor. However they don't last very long. The shelter itself is just about toast and the door especially is not doing the job anymore.

I have a replacement door I got from my son and so I thought; why not take some time and at least replace the door and maybe the shelter will last the winter.

It sounded like a simple job, but like most 'simple' jobs, it wasn't!! I had a pretty good battle on my hands to get the old door off and then install the new one.

Hey Mike, those things are called temporary for a reason, the reason is they don't last long, I have one just like yours and last year I had to put a wooden front in it, I have mine on a wooden base so it made it easier to put a door in it, I have another one that I will be putting a door in this year and maybe a new tarp over each one. A simple job can turn into a big job quickly. Happy New Year to you Nannie and family see you in the next one.

Great job getting the replacement door panel to fit, it looked like a lot of work. We have a number of temporary shelters but they are not as good as yours and they are very high maintenance. With ours, I often think it would be less effort to just build something permanent

There's always something to fix if you own a place or at least that's the way it is around here. Some jobs I kind of enjoy and some I really don't want to do, but they all need doing. I knew a fellow one time that said " if it ain't fun hire it done " but I can't afford that. Nice job on the door. Enjoyed the video and I will keep praying for you and Nannie.
