HiMo Z20 / unlocked the speed limit ... but IT DOES NOT WORK :( --[read the description]

Αfter a lot of searching and testing I will tell you the following about the screen display

Hold down M for ± 8 sec.

Press and hold + button for 1 second can turn on/off the headlight.

Cr cleanup [y] trip Km
S7 Select Mph or Km
b1 Brightness backlight change
OFF Auto off [the number represent minutes to shutdown]
Hd Wheel diameter
b0 Battery volt [36]
Pd Password [1919]
SL Speed limit [default is 25km/h] you can change speed limit in screen display
BUT is not working

Display will automatically quit menu when there is no operation for 7 seconds.

Double locking has done Xiaomi - ΗΙΜΟ and I imagine the only way to unlock the speed limit is the controller change.

* Whatever you do, the final speed with electricity is 25km. From there +km only foot strength.- *

Power button (on bottom): to turn on/off
Trip button (on bottom): to change trip and total mileage
+/- button: to change modes
long press + button: turn on/off lights
long press – button: switch to parking mode

Just got the C26 and I gotta say you're right on the double restriction. Turned it to 25mph but it does a kickback if it tries to go past 15mphs on the throttle.

Have you ever try to change wheel size from high to smallest size such as 16 ??? ( Change the wheel size on the display ) This is a trick. By changing wheel diameter to smallest 16 inch it make the controller think that the motor need to go faster. Give it a try, you will see the different. I alredy did it on my C26 and very happy with the real speed is 30 km /h. Fast enough for 250W motor instead of 25km/h. By the way the speedometer will show a bit slower on the display but infact the bike move faster. Good luck

Actually, I’ve solved it now. Select wheel size to 700c or 29 then your top speed is 20.1 mph. The limit is motor and controls module.

Same as my 365pro scooter with hacked firmware

I’ve also noticed that you can plug the bike in and ride at the same time, so if you have a battery bank with a barrel port that can push 42v @ 2amp it’ll give you a bit more life!

If you conect a 3s batery ( 12v) in series, so you increase the voltage from 36v to 48v, how much is the maximun speed?

Hi mike, thanks for the video. I have ended up here because of a different matter. But if you want to manipulate the top speed, maybe changing the wheel diameter does help. Unfortunatly the speed will be displayed wrong.

I am not very happy with the 3 riding modes. I want them all as pedal assist with different power factors. I think the throttle, horn and gears on one side is not very confortable.
And i think in eco it assists only until 20 kph. Is that same on yours?

I don't know where the password is coming from, it could be that it is wrong and therefore the speed limit is not accepted.

I would try it, but my wife is travelling with mine at the moment.

What does the "P" in the display stands for while pressing "-" (minus) for a longer time?
I suggest it as a pure pedal mode with the possibility of switching the light on/off. Anyone some trusted info about it?
I am also wondering what the "22h" or "25h" in the display stands for when switching on the display while hitting full throttle or putting on a break.
