Pretty much the same as the Wii U version but has a better battle mode with more tracks and more characters in the game, but this only goes over all the normal races at 150cc
Sadly I don't always come in first because as everybody knows Mario Kart can screw you over by getting hit by items over and over again right in front of the finish line allowing everybody to pass you -

My favourite race track in Mario Kart 8/Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is Dragon Driftway in the Egg Cup! This is because I _really_ like dragons and just really like the Oriental/East Asian scenery in Dragon Driftway.

Mario kart overall was a pretty good racing franchise... then we got this instead of Mario kart 9. But when mk64 was released, there was no going back...

Are both Mirror and 200cc unlocked right from the start? I'm not a fan of this trend...

Why did Nintendo tweaked a few things for this game? MK8 for the Wii U feels like the inferior version. They should've just made a Mario Kart 9 tbh.

Nintendo made the miniturbo stat way too complex and imbalanced compared to MKWii and MK8U. Sure, they got rid of fire hopping and demon sliding, made lower top speed values faster than in MK8U, removed the tiered acceleration, buffed trick boosts so they're significantly faster than miniturbos, and they added purple miniturbos that last even longer than orange miniturbos, which I'm completely fine with. On the other hand however, they made the miniturbo charging times and soft drifting angle *_entirely dependent on the miniturbo stat instead of being completely consistent values like in MKWii and MK8U, which heavily favors higher miniturbo values over lower ones, _* and also made the trick boost and miniturbo speeds *_dependent on the miniturbo stat as well, which again favors high miniturbo values over low ones._*

High miniturbos in MK8DX are too OP; they're just like high top speeds in MK8U, Funky Kong and Daisy in MKW, and of course the notorious Meta Knight in Brawl. I want Nintendo to eliminate all differences between miniturbo values other than the length of miniturbo boosts (while still keeping trick boosts significantly faster than miniturbos), and bring back the old miniturbo charging times and °45 soft drifting angle.

I have both the Wii U and the Switch ver. but I had most struggle with the Wii U ver. on 150cc. I think the Switch ver. was more fun and easier but overall it's a fantastic game

I got the Gold Mario in one day, which was X-Mas 2017, and the fact I did 200 on WiiU. Since I knew what to do already, I took the default kart/bike parts and got the job done under 2 hours. The rest of the kart parts I got in 10 days.
