Just bought this watch. I work outside in Aviation and for the money this watch is better than many expensive ones. I love the things it does plus water proof. So rain isn’t a problem and at night I can press the button and it lights up. And it has an alarm if I ever need one. Great watch. As a kid I always wanted a G Shock.

This is the video I watched five years ago when I bought this watch online and didn't receive the manual.

Recently, when I bought this same watch for my son's 14th birthday instead of him reading the manual I see him watching this exact video to learn all the functions just like how I did.

We both find this video a lot easier than reading the manual.

Just got my DW-9005 G-Shock back to life with a new battery after it has been lying around for many years. Still works great but i had forgotten how to set some things, thanks for the great vid, helped a lot. Great watches all over !

Had my watch for years, it's been beat up and been through a lot.
I call it my action watch.
Most of the outer covering has now withered away so I was unable to reset some of the basic functions.
I'm all good now.
