A Fine example of a Regency Tortoiseshell Ink Standish dating back to c.1830.
The inkstand is edged in brass, it sits on four decorative brass hairy paw feet with a decorative brass handle to the centre, with two pen slopes either side two crystal inkwells to the centre in superb condition apart from a small chip to the bottom of one of them the crystal inkwells were added later on but fit perfectly.
The inkstand would look absolutely fabulous on an antique desk or stand.
Superb quality and condition measuring 26 x 17 and stands 16cm high
