Thank you very much for you efforts concerning the Bach`s cantatas. I listen to them all completely every 4 years. The other years, I take on the complete Haydn symphonies, Handel oratorios, Beethoven Quartets and Piano Sonatas. My next project is the Handel operas, and Bach`s complete keyboard music including the concerti.

I like the tempi of this recording. Holds the middle between the very fast and very slow performances

See the discussion of Movement 5 (the Aria) in Michael Marissen's Bach and God, pp. 18-22, if you can. But it's great to listen to this lovely duet without picking up the additional, allusive "business" going on in it that Marissen points out.

So I just had a group project which I screwed up on and I'm fixing now. Feels bad man. Anyways I wasn't really paying attention too much to the cantata, but I guess it was okay.

Is this played on historical instruments? Seems not unless they tuned them at 440... Which would be strange.
The work is in E Major, and this is not in 415...
