As promised in last weeks video we had to return to the state of Kentucky to talk about one of the strangest stories with Cryptid Spotlight: Spottsville Monster. Yes, this story is about a bigfoot but this one seems to prove some of the more outlandish theories about what sasquatch actually is.

"Don't be afraid, I won't harm you."
That is the most terrifying thing that happened throughout this story.

This is a great video! Thank you, I really like that you do not talk about Bigfoot very often, I enjoy hearing about the different topics you present.

Seeing Bob Gymlan (0:55) on your channel is like a cool cameo from an MCU movie! 🤩

Speaking of Bob, I saw parallels in his video, "The Strangest Bigfoot Spree Ever (or something like that)'? It is about a rash of paranormal activity in Pennsylvania in the 70s that includes a bulletproof Bigfoot, unidentified lights in the sky, a hairless and toothless Bigfoot, a Bigfoot that vanish when hit by a car, missing time, Bigfoot carrying a glowing orb and Shadow People.

I also see parallels to the infamous Skinwalker Ranch story and the Point Pleasant Mothman sightings of 66. In all four stories, multiple types of paranormal entity and activity are frequently witnessed in a confined geographical area for a limited amount of time (between a year and a decade).

Bigfoots outside the normal but hidden animal school of thought are not something I agree with. That said this is fascinating. Thanks for the video! You're making my lunch time fun!

Good story, thanks for the research and presentation, Ben. I've never met a Ben Miller video that I didn't like. Respect and Blessings from Wild Wonderful West Virginia. 🙏

What a great story, Ben! Some of it makes me think Sasqua and some makes me think Dogman. But who can say because the clans of both vary as with people!! Both show signs of extreme intelligence and a curiosity in some people. Not all have shown themselves to be violent. Clearly had this being meant harm, it could have easily done so. I hope we can gather more information on this being❣ WONDERFUL show! Keep it coming, E-town loves it❣❣👍👍 ~ Linda

You are a wonderful person Ben and i truely admire people like you. You show REAL respect to your subscribers and fans and you barely make a profit on your merchendise. You are a real man in my eyes and if the most people was like you the world would be a much better place, thank you for a wonderful and realistic channel Ben

My home county. Some of the most believable eyewitness accounts in any cryptid encounter.

Never heard of this one before! Always love hearing about new cryptids. This one sounds similar to a cryptid we have in Oregon called the Conser Lake Monster!

11:09 The thing that sticks out to me is that these are often the EXACT same parts of the body that are missing from cattle and human mutilation stories that are often blamed on extraterrestrials. Are there any comments on if the parts look like they were torn or pulled out or if the markings seemed more...surgical?
11:51 Is this like the rumored portals of Skinwalker and Stardust Ranch?

Most stories from here at Chestnut Ridge link glowing orbs or uaps which I've realized are not necessarily craft by any means but are in fact simply lights, portals or other misunderstood encounters. The idea and more supernatural encounters with the "Indians without fire" are absolutely separate from the amazing works of people like Gymlan and Meldrum. This in itself seems more something you would or could focus on not the extant hominid angle.

I very much appreciate that you keep Bigfoot stuff limited. I love the guy but he gets plenty of press. Haha
